As part of the One2One Awards Gala held at the Villa Padierna Beach Club on Friday, April 25th, Les Roches Marbella was honored with the One2One Award for Best Hospitality Management School in Spain for an International Career.

The third annual gala ceremony (please see the blog from journalist, Jacqueline Campos, for further details), organized by One2One Communications, highlights select individuals, companies and institutions who have demonstrated significant contributions to the Costa del Sol’s tourism sector throughout the year.

Among the factors that led to this distinguished award was Les Roches Marbella’s international recognition among hotel industry managers for the second consecutive year as the highest ranked hospitality management school in Spain for an international career. The One2One award selection also took into account Les Roches Marbella’s dedication during almost 20 years to training future hospitality management professionals. Currently, there are over 3,000 graduates who hold management positions in hotels located in 54 countries around the world.

Jordi Caralt, General Manager of Doble H Hoteles, presented the award to Carlos Diez de la Lastra, CEO / Managing Director of Les Roches Marbella. Upon receiving the award, Mr. Diez de la Lastra said, “This One2One award serves to reinforce our ongoing commitment to everything that has to do with the economic, social, educational and employment situation in Marbella and the Costa del Sol. This recognition is the outcome of our ongoing collaboration with public institutions and private companies in the area, as well as our sponsorship of various initiatives to improve the competitiveness of the tourism sector and, simultaneously, the quality of life of the Costa del Sol’s residents. This award is for all those who are part of Les Roches Marbella and it serves as an important reminder to continue to improve and innovate in our future activities.”
