The Career Development and Internship Department at Les Roches Marbella is excited to introduce both undergraduate and postgraduate hospitality management students to an exciting selection of luxury hotels from both the UK and Spain for the week of November 11-15, 2019.
Starting on Monday, NOBU Hotels of London and Barcelona will present the exclusive luxury group to our students in their effort to attract new talent. Claire Jonathan, Human Resources Manager, London, and Hector Vazquez – Human Resources Manager, Barcelona, will be recruiting for both internships and direct entry employment for their F&B and Rooms division departments, as well as seeking candidates for their Management In Training (MIT) program.
Tuesday afternoon’s on-campus recruitment presentation features the PGA Catalunya Resort (Spain). The multifaceted luxury resort and golf course has been a popular choice with Les Roches students over the years and their successful management team is a great place to learn and grow professionally. TMaria Jose Dorado, Human Resources Manager, and Priscilla Munoz, Recruitment Specialist will be on campus recruiting internship positions and MIT for F&B, Rooms Division, HR, and Events.
Also on Tuesday, we are excited to welcome one of Spain’s success stories in innovating hotel concepts, Room Mate Hotels. The group, led by successful entrepreneur and television personality, Kike Sarasola, thrives on innovation and understands the importance of human capital in hospitality. Their hotels in Spain, Europe, and the Americas, are a great opportunity for students and graduates to develop their management competencies. Room Mate’s Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialists, Alvaro Garcia, Paula Bolas, and Irene Lopez will be interviewing students for operational internships, Assistant GM, Corporate Office Internships, and direct entry career opportunities.
On Wednesday, Marriott ‘s Talent Forum for Spain & Portugal will present a selection of the world’s largest hotel group’s hotels, including Ritz Carlton (Barcelona and Tenerife, Spain), Le Meridien (Barcelona, Spain), Edition (Barcelona, Spain), W (Ibiza, Spain), Marriott’s Vacation Club (Costa del Sol, Spain), and The Luxury Collection (Algarve, Portugal). Following their presentations, they will hold a networking event for students in La Veranda.
Rounding out the week on Thursday, Placement International will be visiting the campus to offer internship opportunities at the Ritz-Carlton Miami and the W Miami to students who seek a one-year training program in the USA. Thomas Riveyran, GM of Placement International and Irene Ivanow will interview students for these luxury hotels and will be on hand to answer any questions they may have related to obtaining required visas to work in the United States.
